School of Dragons

Take control of a young Viking and his dragon and explore the magical lands of Berk. The game focuses on logical puzzles and quest-based story system along with flying and combat segments. Stylized graphics and music are present. Dragon management and skill upgrading mechanics are included.

This is a game based on the popular Dreamworks movie How to train your dragon. In it, you are a rookie dragon flyer who needs to help your people to fight rogue pirates and other enemies. To do so, you need to learn how to pilot your dragon and accomplish a series of tasks, such as throw firebombs at pirate ships in order to sink them; solve puzzles to liberate captured dragons, and so on, all this without being trapped or shot down.

All this appears to be easy, but in reality, it has its difficulties. You need to learn how to control your dragon using your computer's keyboard, which can be difficult at first. Fortunately, you will have the aid of expert warriors who will be helping you at every step.

The game allows you to create your character from scratch. You can decide if you want a male or female character, set the color of its eyes, skin, and hair, as well as other details.

The main drawback I found is that when I downloaded and installed the PC version of the game, my antivirus quarantined the .exe file since it detected it as potentially dangerous. Then, I opted to download and play it through the Steam platform, which didn't cause any alarm to my antivirus.

In sum, if you are a How to train your dragon fan or simply enjoy medieval-themed adventure MMORPGs, then you will enjoy this one.
